ALL-AMERICAN REDHEADS HONORED AT HALFTIME GAME OF ATLANTA DREAM
TEAM Many thanks to Bill Bolen
and his staff for supporting our visit to Atlanta on behalf of the ALL AMERICAN RED HEADS. We were just a handful of former players from around the country who joined together once again to proudly be recognized as being
affiliated with one of the greatest basketball teams that ever existed. From 1936-1986 traveling all over
the country, playing only against men (men's rules), racking up over 200 ballgames in an eight month
season, and laying the ground-work for the women who are now enjoying the prestige they deserve in women's sports.
We stood there in loving memory of Coach Orwell Moore and his wife Butch, who have both passed, but will forever be
remembered for their life-time dedication; both Coach and player)to the ALL AMERICAN REDHEADS.
Thank
you Atlanta fans for the standing ovation. We are sure there were many of you that either watched or played against
the RedHeads within the 50 yrs. they were in existence. We feel sure that which ever is the case; you were
left with the assurance that you had been entertained by some of the most talented female athletes this country has ever produced, and like Coach Moore always said,"IT'S HOW THEY PLAYED THE GAME!"
Good luck to the Atlanta Dream team. Great victory against NY. Hope the wins continue. Impressed with
the Desire, Determination, and Dedication exemplified on the court.
Thanks again for your hospitality,
The All American RedHeads (former players) and Tammy MOORE Harrison (Coach's daughter)
