On July 14, 2003 the All-American Red Heads lost a coach.  Jack Moore coached in the 1960s with teams in the 1960s and coached some of the best players.  Featured on this team with Jack are: Becky Harp, Cathy Jones, Mary Parsons, Brenda Moon, Charlotte Adams, Debbie Smith and Jolene Ammons.  Jacks brother, is owner and former coach, Orwell Moore.

On Wednesday, September 10, 2003, Red Head Perkey Mlaska passed away.  She was 81. She played in the 1940s.  She was a woman that achieved the highest levels in basketball, softball and bowling.

On Saturday, December 27, 2003, one of the last original member of the Red Heads passed away.  Kay Kirkpatrick Philips was one of the original members and would also attend the reunions of the team.

On Friday, April 4, 2008, the last original member of the All American Red Heads passed away.  Lera Dunford Chadwick was the last surviving member of the original team.  She and her sister, Vera, played AAU ball together and were considered to be the top sister duo in the national in the 1930s.
